Watercolor blues
Crying over pictures of you
Washing away all the
Pain with the color
Till life takes a duller
Shade of hue
Without you

Watercolor blues
Memories seeping through
Blurring the lines and the
Shapes of the faces
To people and places
We once knew
Bleeding through

<break>

Watercolor blues
Sifting the lies from the truth
Finding the faults and the
Tears in the pages
With bruising exchanges
Of view
we both lose

Watercolor blues
Nothing left to lose
Emptiness crowding the
Jumbled up spaces
Filling the place
That was you
Nothing to do

Bridge:
Blue pallet for a pallid kind of day
Watercolors to wash the world away

Watercolor blues
Crying over pictures of you
Washing away all the
Pain with the color
Till life takes a duller
Shade of hue

Without you

I think this could be really a nice song, If it were me I run the music a little different...just a little "dirtier"
if you know what I mean. all good work. enjoyed the listen,, Owen I can do a small "clip of this if you don`t know what I`m talking about..I`m not a great singer, but can do enough to give you the idea...I think the song is worth getting after it a bit more..Lane

Your welcome to record a version, or a partial clip. I think I know what you mean - but my voice doesn't lend itself to that style.

Lane, you told Owen to have a great night but when it is night here in the states for us around 9 at night, it is about 1 in the afternoon the next day over there in Australia! They are now about 16 hours ahead of us since it is spring in Australia and they moved their clocks up an hour with a time change.
