I witnessed a miracle today
Though still weary
From my grandpa's passing
It helped light the way

He came, in the form
That brings so much joy
An 8lb, 6oz
Precious little boy

I witnessed a miracle today
It helped me realize
That there's life
That lives past the grave

Though you're gone
Your soul lives on
I know I'll see you some day
I witnessed a miracle today

I witnessed a miracle today
I finally found one
Who was willing
To take me this way

I have my past
I have my sins
Yet she, still let me in
I witnessed a miracle today

I witnessed a miracle today
I felt His presence
When I fell
To my knees and prayed

With open ears
He granted peace
Even though I've gone astray
I witnessed a miracle today

I witnessed a miracle today
My eyes opened
With the chance
To start a new day

So give thanks
For the time
May with love you find
That you've witnessed a miracle today

Thats really nice M.P has a lovely feel to it, good hook line "I witnessed a miracle today" and you use it very well, kind of sounds spoken word with a choir sound in the background, really nice lyrics you have here.

Thank you Dogmax, I wasn't really sure about not having a chorus and just having the title in many of the verses. I'm still cutting my teeth on this whole songwriting idea. I appreciate the feedback.

Like the idea but not sure about this one but I would like to hear it with music to see if it rocks my boat then.
