Inspired by the book "You are Special" by Max Lucado, this is about how God finds each of us special, and He won't hesitate to fix us up and remind us how much He loves us. Almost finished piece.

(1st Verse)
Black spots, chipped arms
You come to me
I'll mend your wounds
Your mind I'll free

Easy, child
You are blind with fright
Let me see you
I'll give you sight

You may not be good for them
But you're special to me

(Chorus)
You are not forgotten
You are not alone
Please do not worry
I will bring you home (2x)

(2nd Verse)
Though many storms will come
Remember you're still here
When you have lost all your faith
I'll wipe away your tears

Do they know you like I do
Why should you care
You're a treasure in my eyes
No matter your wear and tear

(Bridge)
Look up and see
You still have me
You will know
Just where to go

Really good write that I could easily find a groove to and sing along. Nicely done.

Thanks a bunch! I, on the other hand, am still trying to find the right groove XD.

Hi there!

This is my favourite bit:

Do they know you like I do
 Why should you care
You're a treasure in my eyes
No matter your wear and tear

...but within it you have an amorphous "they" and earlier in the write, an undefined "them". My feeling is that the write would benefit from either setting up a more defined role or presence of "them" or else eliminate "them" from the write entirely, keeping God's focus solely on the protagonist. IMO the second option would be preferable but I'm just a moist rodent, so what do I know?!
