You know I've been trying to make a singing style work on "If we don't blow it" for the last month and I was getting frustated.. so I usually switch gears and come back to songs when they feel right. Anyways this song has been on my mind since I did it over a year ago. Wish I had some backup singers though. Glad you liked it. It was my first song I wrote on TSF.

Yeah, 10-4 Rob-Man, I was reading back thru the post and thought that was the case.  That's cool to look back and follow up on a work such as this one.  You've really came a long ways Bro. :)

You are getting awesome at recording!  This song is so cool.  I heard keys in the into, sounded great, hooked me.

LOL!! Thanks Brenda.. I don't know if I am getting any better at the recording thing.. but it sure is fun. I'm not really a keybord guy but I did manage to improvise on a scale that fit the key so I went with it. Thanks for the comments Brenda.

I really like the song a lot but was especially impressed with the quality. Rock on Contry Rob Rock on, woohoo I'm rubbing shoulders with some talented folks here for sure.

Great song Rob! really enjoyed that. You might consider taking the echo/reverb back a notch, there were a couple of times I found it hard to catch the next word cause the echo was still playing. Course my ears are getting old too! Have you considered going all out emotionally on the chorus? sort of overacting if you know what I mean.

Thanks Owen good feedback.. I think its a production thing and Stylist approach of the way I am trying to sing. Recording my voice over tracks is not a natural thing for me... singing after I lay down the tracks is harder than singing when I play my instrument at the same time. So there is overdubs going on... trying to match the key and style. Some day I'll pickup the equipment where I can do both at the same time. I would actually like to have female backup singers on the chorus... soft soaring vocals like angels.

I would let you borrow my angels for awhile, but they're too busy trying to keep me from breaking my neck.  Just kidding Bro.  If I could get them to sing I'd be a Rich guy.   I think you have come a very long way in your recording abilites.  You're miles ahead of me friend. :D

After reading Roy's post this morning I decided to go back and find my first post and encounter with Mike. It was Dec 29th 2006. My first song I wrote on the forum was "Outlaw's Salvation". Susan Jeffries was with us back then. She was a wonderful lady and has since passed as well.

For The Good Times. :)

That's what I always think about when I read and listen to our oldies, but goodies, on here.  Glad you bumped this one back up Rob. Now, I'm gonna bury myself in the thread and read it.

GREAT thread, Rob. I have never seen it before, so it was fun reading it. And while reading it I tried several times to locate the song by clicking on the various links you have posted throughout your thread, however, I never did find it.  If it's posted and I've just somehow overlooked it, would you mind putting your finger on it for me,  I'd like to hear it if it's available.

Sara I'll have to track it down I think I've rotated it out of my song list to make room for new songs but I know I got somewhere.
