Another good one gone! :) Honky Tonk Angels was the first country song I ever learned how to sing. But that was because Kitty Wells was my Mama's favorite female singer and she sang it all the time. I still know every word of it!:)

Kitty Wells was a fine lady and a great singer. She, like many other country legends of that era, left behind some really great songs and through her wonderful songs she will be always be remembered. :)

Thanks for posting this Granny, she deserves to be honored. :)

There was a time when I was in Nashville and had to drop some pictures off to Kitty at her shop. I found it funny when a bus full of tourist pull up outside and Kitty ran for the office and closed the door. Her husband greeted the tourist. We can't imagine how tiresome it would get greeting strangers day in and day out, year after year. I found her to be a very enjoyable lady. Ron
