Got a real country vibe going with words like "gussied up" in there. You've painted a vivid picture, and given it a lot of atmosphere and energy.
The chorus feels particularly strong. I fall into a natural rhythm there.
You might consider:
put my boot imprint in some sawdust > stamp my bootprints in some sawdust
