When I taught HS, one of my female freshman students ran off with a pedophile from the Midwest she met online. We were worried sick. The feds finally caught up with them, arrested the culprit, and returned her home. She had a different view of the world after that.

Twitter Heart
_______________Verse/Chorus
Verse 1:
She flutters in the net hoping someone sees her
But she’s quick to block all those who don’t please her
All those tweets she post to tally online friends
May be her ends when she sees their real intends

Chorus 1:
Her Twitter heart can’t be satisfied
Will she change her ways and realize
The love she has shines in every part
Will she ditch hashtags and stitch her Twitter heart

Verse 2:
She’s checking her cell phone seeking somebody new
But those who are sincere are becoming few
And texting a fine line between friend and foe
May come back to her in ways she doesn’t know

Chorus 1: (as above)
Her Twitter heart can’t be satisfied
Will she change her ways and realize
The love she has shines in every part
Will she ditch hashtags and stitch her Twitter heart

Verse 3:
She posts vids of herself to lure the love she seeks
But now she gets too many unwanted tweets
And finding love online is a thorny trail
Especially when she starts to see what’s veiled

Chorus 2:
Her Twitter heart won’t be satisfied
Since she’s changed her ways and realized
That online love is dark in many parts
So she ditched hashtags and stitched her Twitter heart

Post Chorus:
She ditched hashtags and stitched... her Twitter heart
